In Sand or Mud

When stuck in sand, use LiftTrax to reduce ground pressure by inserting them, partially inflated, in front of the wheels that have lost traction.
Sand and mud are challenging conditions for many 4x4s. Using LiftTrax as inflatable sand ladders simplifies recovery and in such environments. The LiftTrax will spread the ground pressure and enable motion. The LiftTrax are tough enough to even lift the vehicle when the chassis is resting on the sand.
When stuck in sand, but not to the extent whereby the vehicle chassis is touching the ground, place the partially inflated LiftTrax under the free spinning wheels. Insert the LiftTrax to the mid of the tire, and clear the sand in front of all others. Drive your way out on the LiftTrax, allowing them to reduce the ground pressure and get out of the sand.
If your vehicle is deep in the sand, with its chassis or rear axle touching the ground, insert the LiftTrax all way in under the spinning wheels. Now inflate the LiftTrax, using a hand-held pump or a compressor, lifting it off the ground. Clear the sand in front of all wheels and drive, your way out on the LiftTrax.
How to use/rocky terrain
Crossing a ditch is easy using LiftTrax: Simply inflate, place it inside to fill the ditch, and cross over it to the other side.
Crossing rocky terrain involves step climbing, ditch crossing and the risk of getting stuck in a high centre position. Rock dragging, shoveling and winching are only a few of the old methods used to overcome obstacles. Using LiftTrax on rocky terrain saves you stacking rocks as itĀ fills the gap between your wheel and the ground while its tough rubber grips bite into the trail and give you the traction you need.
As a Tread Lightly compatible product (www.treadlightly.org) , LiftTrax also allow you to self-recover without carving up trails or changing the lie of the land and ruining it for other people.
High Centre Recovery: When your vehicle is stuck in a high centre position with its chassis in contact with the ground and wheels out of traction, insert LiftTrax under the free-spinning wheels. Inflate the LiftTrax using a compressor or hand-held pump, which will lift the vehicle off its high centre. You can then simply drive your way out, over your LiftTrax.
Ditch Recovery: In the unlucky event that your 4×4 has failed to cross a ditch, insert the LiftTrax underneath the wheels and inflate them using a hand-held pump or compressor. The LiftTrax will raise the wheel/s, allowing you to drive onto them and out of the ditch with ease.
Mobility: When approaching a step or a ditch, simply inflate a LiftTrack and lay it in the ditch. As Your LiftTrax are designed to easily recover vehicles of up to 4 Tonnes, you can confidently drive straight onto the LiftTrax, overcoming the obstacle with ease.
